It was the disinterested groom at the wedding fair that picked out Deabill & Quince and thank goodness he did!

Freya's designs stood out straight away and we loved how personalised the designs were.

Freya was the first vendor we snapped up and the whole process from start to finish was smooth, fun and professional. Freya is incredibly talented and has such a creative eye. She took the time to listen to all of our ideas and created bespoke stationery pieces that had all my guests talking. Some of our guests have even framed their invitations, as the detail on them is incredible!

My favourite piece that Freya created for me was the order of service booklet. It is designed to look like the old fashioned penguin books and Freya helped me incorporate a story that I had written to coincide with the details of the service. The booklet also includes detailed caricatures of the bridal party and Freya got their outfits spot on!

Nothing was ever too much trouble for Freya and when I was feeling a bit down before the wedding, she even gave me the last push I needed to get things done. I will also be eternally grateful to Freya for going that extra mile and making sure my packages were delivered on time and relabelled when I had given out the wrong postcode. She even enlisted the help of her family to ensure the package arrived on time (shout out to Freya's Dad!).

The Details

I first met Jenny & Peter whilst suffering early stages of morning sickness in a new buzzing Cafe in Finsbury Park but I quickly forgot my woes as we got chatting about their incredible day in Noss Mayo Devon. The Ceremony, set in a part ruin (with no roof) church on the coastal hills above the town looking out over the sea... in November.... in England (!!!) was enough to stop any one in their tracks but Jenny & Pete were adamant at not only taking on this hanging chandelier, Turkish vintage rug, Gatsby theme celebration in a completely blank canvas, but were aiming to do it all DIY!

To set the scene we create these incredible jaw-dropping luxury boxed invitations. At first sight you are met with matt black and gold foiled boxes donning the famous Great Gatsby quote, inside the experience continues with a silky vellum wrap and pheasant feather (to match the bouquet) and bespoke hand illustration of the famous Cole & Son Woods wallpaper complete with gold foiled stars. Once you are in then the glint of sea green and gold foil will make you draw breath as these three fold pocket invitations sneak into view. Containing rsvp and envelope complete with mini sparklers, a hand tied booklet containing all the important details for the weekend and the main invitation itself we heard that guests had even framed theirs!

The Penguin Book style order of service was a masterpiece, with a complete illustrated bridal party in personalised caricatures and 'wedding story' written by Jenny the booklet was finished with more Cole and Son wallpaper illustration sprinkled with dancing Fairies.

Possibly our favourite part was the tassel-donning place names, which also doubled up as menus. Finished with matching satin ribbons and tassels in three complimentary colours to match the wedding decor they looked incredible.
