The Details

I jumped at the chance when Rachel from Salt & Scent Events got in touch with Fran & Jeff's brief, not only was it to be my second New Years Eve wedding at the incredible venue Elmore Court, but another chance to work with Rach & her impeccable style.

Fran & Jeff were fairly loose with their brief, but wanted all out classic luxe using their wedding colours maroon and deep green. Pair this with incredibly detailed gold foiling and gilt edging and you really cant go wrong.

Specialist printers were called in for the arched invite which was duplexed, letterpress and gilt edged finished with a brass eyelet to the top theres not many places in the UK which will deliver this level of finish. Completed with gold silk tassels and its very own colour matched foiled pocket, bespoke monogram crest and luxury envelopes with beautiful hand calligraphy addresses it was surely a jawdropping moment when it hit those doormats.

A highlight of the wedding day was creating the 6 foot mirrored table plan. Completed with white vinyl it can be removed and re purposed after the wedding and I think we can safely say the styling and final result was breathtaking. The theme followed through with hand illustrated cocktail menus, feasting menus and gilt edged arch place cards to help the day flow.

The final detail which has now been replicated for many of my weddings is the personalise door hangers. Utilising the various rooms at Elmore each one had its own named tassel hanger to welcome guests and make those surprise and delight moments even more special.
