Where do you start with a wedding of this incredibleness - if thats even a word!?
I met Charlotte and Alex for a coffee in London - the first time i'd left my then 6 month old baby, a feeling of both freedom and insane separation anxiety! And what wonderful ideas they had for their new years eve wedding.
We started off with a wonderful invitation design, using floral patterns and details taken from Charlottes Hermione De Paula gown. The modern pocket fold design contained two bespoke maps, one of the wedding venue - stunning Elmore Court, and a map of the New Years Day walk which guests could join them on to blow away the sore heads. The florals were enhanced by beautiful illustrations of the bride and groom and of their dog, which featured on the rsvp's making it truly personal.
Then followed a wonderful collaboration between all suppliers chosen for the day to make sure the whole result was one to WOW. We worked with the fabulous Studio Sorores who were overall wedding planners and florists to match both the table cloth and flowers to the T with style, colours and design which became the overriding scheme for the on the day stationery and tablescapes - even finding matching coloured candles - nothing was left to chance. We all agreed that more is definitely more in this case, from the beautiful order of services, to the edible seed table plan display, the wedding crackers filled with bespoke joke cards, party poppers, bubbles, M&Ms and drinks tokens the stationery sent the styling of the day to another level taking our floral illustrations across the whole suite. Never have we had such fun bringing everything together, even the cake designer used details from the invitations and illustrations to decorate the 4 tier cake.
The final result was that of opulence, incredible wild florals, moody romance and shabby glitz setting an incredible atmosphere for the New Years eve ceremony and festivities.
