Following a showcase at the beautiful Hedsor House where I am proud to have been a recommended supplier for many years, I was honoured to be contacted by Nick & Allegra to create not one, but 2 sets of stationery for their wedding weekender at their beloved Hedsor.

Nick is one of three brothers in the Shephard family who own and manage the estate. His parents still live within the grounds, meaning the house and estate remain completely private. Managed by the fourth generation of the Shephard family this unique set up ensures the utmost privacy and exclusivity of the entire venue.

For the wedding day itself Nick and Allegra chose to use my beautiful Hedsor Collection which was created to perfectly compliment wedding days at Hedsor. There is no better endorsement than that!
The collections incredible bird and botanics pattern is taken from the Hedsor Boudoir Room, which was redecorated by the film crew for the filming of 'Quartet', Dustin Hoffmans directing debut in 2012. Nick was intrinsic in the installation and it seemed meant-to-be that this design was featured throughout their wedding day stationery.

Setting the scene for the day ahead were the beautifully tweaked save the dates, complete with bespoke monogram, wax seal and watercolour illustration of Hedsor.

The breathtaking tri fold invite followed a few months later, boxed for posting and wrapped in the most glorious translucent patterned paper and fixed with the matching wax seal these invitations had the guests in awe. (Since A+N's wedding there is now a bespoke boxed envelope design rather than the matchbox design which reduces weight and is more durable in the postal system.)

Our Hedsor Collection is completely customisable but Allegra & Nick kept it true to concept using our carefully chosen suite of papers (Extract by G.F.Smith), colour matching the Drawing Room at Hedsor and sustainably made from recycled coffee cups! THE CEREMONY | ST NICHOLAS' CHURCH, HEDSOR
The day itself was welcomed with a beautiful welcome sign, unplugged ceremony sign and Order of Service, all following the elegant theme, keeping the day consistent and thoughtful throughout.

Allegra & Nick's reception stationery didn't disappoint either, their table plan - displayed on one of Hedsor's in-house easels with bespoke wax seals and the beautiful pattern backdrop welcomed guests into dinner and their personalised menus completed the tables perfectly. A perfect compliment to the dusty rose glassware, ivory cloths and napkins.
